Keio University’s 150th anniversary commemorative “Design the Future Fund” was established as part of the 150th Anniversary Commemorative Project. Supported by a portion of contributions raised through the 150th Anniversary Commemorative Project, the fund will conduct the following activities intended to foster human beings that will endeavor to design the future and that will have the ability to live both independently and in collaboration with others.

• Overseas study, training, internships, and other activities to promote students’ international experience
• Promotion of acceptance of and support for overseas students and of international exchange
• Innovative lessons through invitation of pioneers at the international level
• Chairship lectures in university faculties, graduate schools, etc., and unique educational programs in affiliated schools
• Other activities that contribute to the development of human beings that will endeavor to design the future and that will have the ability to live both independently and in collaboration with others

The Design the Future Fund Steering Committee was established to ensure the smooth execution of activities implemented by the fund. Activities currently include the "Design the Future" Award for International Students scheme and "solicited programs."
